Who Would You Nominate?
So I was thinking about some of the comments that people left for my Obama post...it gave me the idea to open things up and ask - Who would you nominate for president if you could nominate anyone? Leave a comment and let us know. If you can, share a reason why. We already have nominations from previous comments for Don Grubaugh and Mary Todd. Who would you nominate?

I want to know who Mary Todd is. LOL The only one I know is my girls' piano teacher, but I doubt that anyone reading this blog knows her. LOL
Personally, if I had to choose from those running, out of the two presidential candidates and two vp candidates, I'd rather see Palin run for president!!

After much prayer, meditation and research I submit the following list of nominees:
For president Matthew McConeghy --- b/c he is so stinking cute! And for his veep --- James McAvoy b/c I loved him in Becoming Jane.
The staff/cabinet would include...
Foreign Affairs --- Stacy & Clinton (from What Not to Wear)
Secretary of Treasury --- Dave Ramsey
Secretaries of State --- Team consisting of Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson & Paula Abdul
Secretary of Defense --- The New England Patriots
Secretary of Interior --- Candace Olsen, HGTV
White House Chef --- Rachel Ray
Secretary of Agriculture --- Scott Troyer & Katie Nelson (they could teach us how to raise little cows and goats and live totally green)
Speaker of the House --- Rob Bell
Secretary of Comedy --- Natalie Ward
Secretary of Salons --- Tara at 5 Elements
White House spokesperson --- Dr. JoAnn Lyon
Secretary of Mission Trips --- Pastor Luis Martinez
AND --- most importantly ---
Secretary of Vacations --- Kathy Troyer (hey, I gotta have a job, too, you know)
Hey - let me know if I win!!!!

Pat Robertson is a good candidate for Commander in Chief because he can leg press 2000 pounds.

Pat Robertson did really claim to do that. I think that the squat record for the university of miami's football team is closer to 1500 lbs. The spirit of the Lord probably came upon him.
