Home is where you make it...
I apologize that we have not loaded pictures and updates regarding our trip to Florida. I will be adding all of that soon. Before I do, I wanted to write a short post to update you all regarding our housing situation.
As some of you know, for Natalie and I March was the month of many beds. In addition to sleeping in our own, we stayed at Phil and Kathy T.'s for a week sleeping in their bed. We slept on the floor and on couches at Natalie's parents' house while showing our house to sell, we stayed at Matt and Natalie T.'s before flying out to Indy, shared a bedroom (not a bed) with Natalie's parents in Florida, slept in a bed at a Holiday Inn Express after the wedding on the beach, and slept on a pull out couch at Natalie's grandma's Florida house before coming home. That's quite a list of beds for one month.
Needless to say, it was nice to sleep in our own bed when we got home Tuesday night. The crazy thing is that now that we're finally back in our own home and own bed, we only have 21 more nights (including tonight - Thursday night) to enjoy it here before we move out of our house because we sold it last week and close on April 26th.
We're excited to be moving and will keep you all posted. It just goes to show you that even though there's no place like home...home is where you make (as we definitely learned last month). Thanks to everyone who opened up their homes to us. We're looking forward to hosting each of you in our new home in the next couple of months.
