Labor Day Weekend

We had a busy Labor Day weekend. We started things on Friday (Natalie and I both had the day off). We spent the day together shopping and watching movies at home Friday night. Saturday I had my first Notre Dame Football game of the season.

It was definitely not their best game...still fun to be there. I'm hoping they improve as the year goes on. Although I was really doubtful Saturday on the way home from the game. I have a little more hope now that this is just the beginning of the process. NOTE: Notice my sweet aviators (I know I look like an old man - they are key though so that the students don't know where I am looking).

Sunday began with church in the morning...it was amazing as usual. We are so blessed at LWC to have God working in our midst. He is so good! After church we went to the lake for a few hours (probably our last time with all of us together at the lake this summer).

After spending the afternoon at the lake, we went to a wedding. Natalie's cousin Ashley got married to her fiance Brandon. Congrats to the newlyweds. We enjoyed the wedding and had a blast at the reception.

We stayed the night at the lake Sunday night after the wedding. We didn't get home until 1:00 am. We decided we needed to take one last late night boat ride for the summer. So we rode around the lake until 2:00 am. Since we were up so late, we didn't wake up Monday until around 10:00 am. We at a late breakfast together and Natalie and I got around to go to my Aunt Becky and Uncle Tom's house for a family get together. It was so great to spend time with that side of my family.

After we got home Monday night, we were worn out. We took a nap and enjoyed the rest of the evening together.
