Thank You LWC!!!

AS A SIDE NOTE- THESE LAST FEW DAYS HAVE BEEN VERY UNIQUE- OUR BLOGS WILL NOT NORMALLY BE THIS LONG!
TO OUR FRIENDS AT LWC:
We just want to say how excited we are about coming on board at LaOtto Wesleyan Church. It has been difficult leaving those we love at Keystone, but you have all been so considerate during this transition and we couldn't pick a more ideal family to join than LWC. We want to thank everyone for the time that was put into the senior pastor search and we especially want to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to fill that position. We have great hopes and what we consider to be a Godly vision for LWC and we are encouraged by the passion and support of the congregation to be challenged in order to further the ministry of Christ. We are excited about the incredible potential that we see in each person at the church and we anticipate many great things for the cause of Christ. Thank you all for the relationships we have already built and the relationships to come. We want you to know we are in constant prayer over all of you and the future of the church and we are seeking God regularly as to how he intends to use all of us at LWC.

Tyler is ecstatic about getting started and we are so ready to jump into this church and pour ourselves into the people and the ministry.
There are so many individuals we could thank for the work they've done over the many months in this process, we don't intend to leave anyone out and we are sorry if we do, but we would like to specifically thank the following individuals or groups of individuals for all the work done while we've been involved at LWC. First, thanks to the Board for all of your input and for your willingness to be open and challenged by Tyler's vision for ministry (your willingness to consider new approaches is encouraging to Tyler and Natalie both and we look forward to the ideas that you all have to share). We would also like to thank the Pastoral search committee for the time that they have put into this process. We know that much thought and prayer went into your consideration and we humbly thank you for the opportunity to fill this position. We would like to especially thank Greg Baker, Vice Chair, for all the hard work he did in this transition and for the constant support you are to both Tyler and Natalie. Thank you to the Sloans and Troyers who have repeatedly invited us to your homes for dinner after church, we look forward to all of the future times that we will fellowship together. Thank you to Adam Stone for all the time you've put into explaining the finances and helping Tyler to understand the financial information of LWC-you quietly do so much behind the scenes and we acknowledge your faithfulness. Thank you to Adam Griner for all the time you've put into preparing for worship and working with Tyler to create a unified themed during worship. We look forward to working with you in each week. To those of you we have not mentioned-we pray that after all the time and resources you've given to this process that God would uniquely bless you and your family especially this season. We so look forward to starting out the new year in fellowship and worship with your families.

For those visiting this blog site- we would like to invite you to spend your Christmas with LaOtto Wesleyan. If this is your first time at LWC for Christmas, it's ours too! We are having a Christmas Eve service at 7:00 pm (in the sanctuary) that will offer an opportunity for worship and a message called "Responding to the Savior" from the new Senior Pastor, Tyler. There will also be a time for celebration and fellowship following the service . Then on Christmas Day, we will have our normally scheduled Sunday Morning Service at 10:30 am (in the sanctuary) where we will take part in another opportunity for worship and Tyler will preach a message called "Christmas with the Family" . We look forward to seeing you, if you can make it!
